This is an independent RP blog for Geralt of Rivia. Primarily show based, with game canon/verses incorporated.
Any NSFW content will be tagged or under a read more. Mun is 25+.
First interactions are usually awkward and boring, so always feel free to hmu with plot ideas or a meme or two to get things going a little more organically.
I don't accept any god-modding. I control my character, you control yours. Please don't attempt to kill Geralt without discussing it with me first-- I'm all up for action threads, but don't appreciate lack of warning.
I have verses available for other fandoms, so always feel free to reach out!

My face claim for Geralt is the wonderful Henry Cavill. All the icons that I use are made by me, so please don't steal them. They take me a long time!

This is mostly because I find it easier to limit the amount of people that I follow to those I truly believe I will interact well with.
Duplicates:
Sometimes I will follow back other versions of my character, but not every time. Please don't be offended if I don't, sometimes it makes me very anxious!
Triggers:
I'm not particularly easily triggered, so these things don't tend to occur to me. I do try to remember to tag things I think might be triggering, but I'm only human and I do sometimes forget. So please let me know if you need something tagged and I will try to remember it in the future.
Replies:
I tend to prioritize threads that I have the most muse for, so that I can keep my muse flowing. Sometimes I struggle writing, so I enjoy getting on and just letting myself reply to whatever takes my fancy a the time. This doesn't mean that I don't enjoy our threads, but please be patient with me and I will get there eventually.
About
During the Trial of the Grasses, Geralt exhibited unusual tolerance for the mutagens that grant witchers their abilities. Accordingly, Geralt was subjected to further experimental mutagens which rendered his hair white and may have given him greater speed, strength, and stamina than his fellow witchers.
Despite his title, Geralt did not hail from the city of Rivia. After being left with the witchers by his mother, Visenna, he grew up in their keep of Kaer Morhen in the realm of Kaedwen. In the interest of appearing more trustworthy to potential clients, young witchers were encouraged to make up surnames for themselves by master Vesemir. 'Geralt of Rivia' became the name that he chose. Due to his brilliant success in training, Geralt was selected for additional mutation experiments. He was the only witcher to have survived these experiments, his stark white hair being a side effect of these additional mutations.
